Take your time. Let them “speak” to your soul and mind.

Feel free to click on each one to visit their page on DeviantArt to see a larger image and read what the artist had to say about it.

What This Card Means to Me

There is a time and place for everything, and The Empress reminds us of this with the cycle of the seasons and the rhythms of nature. There is a reason we have the saying, “Stop and smell the roses.” Just like the seasons we too have periods of work, growth, and rest. Mother Nature is gracious and generous to those who put forth the effort. Thus the farmer is rewarded for his efforts in the fields.

Those of us that are parents should tune into this rhythm and use it to guide our children into adulthood. We need to be ever mindful that there needs to be a balance between work, growth, and rest for healthy development.

Karma rewards generosity when we honestly pay it forward, share what we have, and care for others. They say it takes a village to raise a child. I believe it takes a village to support an adult as well. No one exists in a vacuum. Build your village, not just for your children but for yourself and neighbors also.

The Music Playlist

In the spirit of all this, these are the songs picked out thus far for this card.

The Writing Prompt

Now as a writer with everything we’ve gone over with this card what comes to mind? Start writing! Doesn’t matter what it is. Stretch your mind and let The Empress speak to you.

I would love it if you linked or pinged back what you wrote so I could see where you went with this.

Happy writing!
