Today we’re featuring and exploring the sixth card in the Major Arcana, The Hierophant.

What This Card Means to Me

This is where we learn about the world around us and how we fit into it. We are constantly choosing which groups and organizations we identify with and whether or not we wish to conform. This is part of the process in self identification and self expression. Once again there is a need to keep a balance between maintaining the sense of being one with the whole and the sense of the individual here. Extremism is seldom healthy and something we need to check ourselves for from time to time.

The Music Playlist

In the spirit of all this, these are the songs picked out thus far for this card.

Do you have any songs you think should be on this list? Suggest them in the comments!

The Writing Prompt

Now as a writer with everything we’ve gone over with this card what comes to mind? Start writing! Doesn’t matter what it is. Stretch your mind and let The Hierophant speak to you.

I would love it if you linked or pinged back what you wrote so I could see where you went with this.

Happy writing!
