What This Card Means to Me

Think of Rapunzel. She was stuck in a tower most of her life with no idea just how big the world was outside. One day that suddenly changed for her when she was given the opportunity to leave the tower.

Think of the Tower of Babylon. Man had the arrogance to believe they could reach God by building a great tower and for this they were struck down and cursed with thousands of tongues to speak so they could never do it again.

These are just two examples of sudden change involving towers. One involved a revelation while the other involved a downfall. Both were released from their current course of action. The Tower represents unexpected changes to clear away the path before us. the downfall could be our own pride or it could be outdated methods that are no longer needed in our lives. The point is, change isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, more often than not we need it in order to grow. Sometimes it’s just unsettling and we need to regain our balance afterwards.

The Music Playlist

In the spirit of all this, these are the songs picked out thus far for this card.
