The Six of Swords

SixOfSwords

Here is the next installment in my own Tarot design project over on DeviantArt using the Miku Miku Moving program. Please let me know what you think!

Not to worry, I’ll continue to feature the series I started with in the links below.

Today we’re featuring and exploring the Six of Swords, the sixth card of the Sword Suit in the Minor Arcana.

Additional Card Images

So take a look at these four cards on DeviantArt and compare them to the first one I presented. How are they the same? How are they different? What do they say to you?

Take your time. Let them “speak” to your soul and mind.

Themes of the Card

The Six of Swords is the sixth card in the Swords Suit of the Minor Arcana and presents the fifth challenge of the suit.

According to the Learning the Tarot website, the keywords associated with the card are:

  • THE BLUES
  • RECOVERY
  • TRAVEL

You can read more about this card in detail on their website here.

What This Card Means to Me

This card reminds me that “life finds a way” and that there is “light at the end of the tunnel” since no journey or trial lasts forever. Sometimes it feels like there is no end in sight. It’s at times like these I need to remind myself that the only way out is through.

The challenge here is to get ourselves to slog forward to the end, even if it feels like wading through mud uphill.

The Music Playlist

In the spirit of all this, these are the songs picked out thus far for this card.

Do you have any songs you think should be on this list? Suggest them in the comments!

The Writing Prompt

Now as a writer with everything we’ve gone over with this card what comes to mind? Start writing! Doesn’t matter what it is. Stretch your mind and let The Six of Swords speak to you.

I would love it if you linked or pinged back what you wrote so I could see where you went with this.

Happy writing!
