Here is the next installment in my own Tarot design project over on DeviantArt using the Miku Miku Moving program. Please let me know what you think!
Not to worry, I’ll continue to feature the series I started with in the links below.
Today we’re featuring and exploring the Nine of Swords, the ninth card of the Sword Suit in the Minor Arcana.
Additional Card Images
So take a look at these four cards on DeviantArt and compare them to the first one I presented. How are they the same? How are they different? What do they say to you?
Take your time. Let them “speak” to your soul and mind.

What This Card Means to Me
For me, this is the card that represents everything that falls under the Anxiety Disorders category in the DSM. Whether it’s PTSD, OCD, GAD, Social Anxiety, or what have you, this is the stuff that eats away at your brain and keeps you up at night with all the “should have”, “could have” and “what if” that plagues us through out the day – especially when we’re trying to sleep.
So when we see this card, it’s a warning. Either we are headed down a path that will lead us into this worry pit, or we are spending too much time there. If we are more mindful of the choices we make, we are better able to avoid the pit. If we are willing to learn and grow from our mistakes, we can find our way out.
For those of us with an anxiety disorder, it may also mean that we need to re-evaluate our care plan to better manage our illness. Sometimes we need to simply acknowledge that it’s there and work with it like an uninvited guest at tea time.
The Music Playlist
In the spirit of all this, these are the songs picked out thus far for this card.
Do you have any songs you think should be on this list? Suggest them in the comments!
The Writing Prompt
Now as a writer with everything we’ve gone over with this card what comes to mind? Start writing! Doesn’t matter what it is. Stretch your mind and let The Five of Swords speak to you.
I would love it if you linked or pinged back what you wrote so I could see where you went with this.
